Bio

David Fritz officially announced his candidacy for Connecticut State Representative representing the 90th District, serving Wallingford and Middlefield.

Fritz, a lifelong resident of Wallingford, is deeply rooted in the community and carries forward a strong legacy of public service. He is the son of the late Mary G. Fritz, who faithfully represented the 90th District in the Connecticut House of Representatives for 34 years. David believes strongly in giving back to his community, something that was instilled in him by both his parents from a very young age. Board Member with USA Hockey and coach of youth hockey and high school lacrosse, David not only teaches the fundamentals of each sport, but prepares his players to be contributing members of
their community.

"Growing up, I saw firsthand what it meant to serve the community with dedication, integrity, and hard work,” said Fritz. “I’m running because I believe the people of the 90th District deserve a strong advocate in Hartford — someone focused on bringing resources, attention, and results back home.” Fritz believes the district is not currently receiving the level of representation and support it deserves. He says his campaign will focus on restoring a strong voice for residents and ensuring their interests come before politics.

“The people of Wallingford and Middlefield deserve more,” Fritz added. “They deserve a representative who listens, who works tirelessly for them, and who puts common sense solutions ahead of political agendas.”

He and his wife, Ariana Votto Fritz, are raising their family in Wallingford, continuing a lifelong commitment to the town they proudly call home.

Fritz says his campaign will emphasize fiscal responsibility, practical leadership, community engagement, and a renewed commitment to constituent service.
